Hear me out on how travelling changes your life to become an
open-minded person and to learn how to treat different people with more
respect.
1. Travelling the world gives you unforgotten experiences
for the rest of your life. Everyday is different, every place is unique and
every moment is unpredictable. If you feel that your job is dragging you down
it's definitely time to get out.
2. On your journeys you will meet new people and learn about
their rituals and the way they live. A network of contacts around the globe is
always useful in any occasion. Whether you're looking for a job, local news or
a nice place to stay next time!
3. By travelling to new regions we find more understanding
in other cultures and the way they live. This results in less conflicts,
fighting and inconsistency. Perhaps we cannot prevent prejudice, but when
travelling, we see that all people laugh, cry, eat and sleep, and that we are
not so different from each other as we think we are.
4. On your journey's you can try and taste new local
delicacies that you will love. And finally you can eat your favourite foods in
the countries where they originated.
5. A journey isn't about moving from one place to another.
It's a process of becoming independent, learning to adapt and to take care of
yourself. Moving out of your parent's house is one thing, but having to hunt
for your own food is something else.
6. Travelling continually changes and so do we chance within
it. You will have a better view of perspective when you expose yourself more to
how most other people live instead of a first world society. It's also your one
chance to see things through your own eyes, without a manipulated vision from
media and politics.
7. A travel is a good way for a new start in your life. If
you don't really know what you want, feel stuck, or frustrated with your job.
There's no better experience than feeling ultimate freedom and having the
courage to pursue your dreams.
8. The thing that will amaze you the most when travelling is
to discover that you can do things you didn't think you could. Living in
extreme conditions gives you understanding and shows what for a person you
really are.
9. We do have dreams and we do have plans, and we like to
change, but how often are we prepared to take the risk and leave our
comfortable safety zone? As a traveller you're continually exposed to the fears
and risks you would normally avoid in your daily life. Don't be afraid and
start to live up to what you really want.
10. Travelling helps you to identify yourself. What's a
better teaching method than being exposed to different countries, cultures and
risks, and to experience it all by yourself?
